Summary: The children’s program at Neighbors Link provides engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children whose parents are attending programs at our Mount Kisco center on Columbus Avenue. Staff help to prepare the classroom space, develop and implement children’s activities, and clean up and organize classroom supplies. We have shifts available on weekday evenings from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Rate = $13/hour. We will also have some daytime shifts available this summer. High school juniors and seniors are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities: Organize supplies for each session; set up classroom Take attendance and direct any volunteers Implement projects for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while in class Communicate with Program Manager about program needs
Requirements: Experience babysitting or working in an early childhood setting Proficiency in Spanish a plus; must be able to communicate well with children and parents Experience working with people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds Flexibility to meet the needs of the children and program Commitment to the Neighbors Link mission
