Children's Program Staff for Ossining

Job Summary: The children’s program at Neighbors Link provides engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children whose parents are attending programs at our center. Staff supervise and play with the children, help to prepare the classroom space, develop and implement children’s activities, and clean up and organize classroom supplies.

This position is for the following hours at our Ossining location:
Mondays from 9:45am to 5:45pm and Fridays from 9:45am to 11:45am with occasional additional hours. Hourly rate = $15/hour.


  • Implement projects for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while in class
  • Supervise and play with children ages 1 to 12
  • Organize supplies for each session; set up and clean up classroom
  • Communicate with Parent Education Manager about program needs
  • Assist with data entry for Neighbors Link program attendance


  • Experience babysitting or working in an early childhood setting
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus; must be able to communicate well with children and parents
  • Experience working with people from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the children and program
  • Computer skills or willingness to learn
  • Commitment to the Neighbors Link mission
  • Background check required
