We are celebrating all of our adult ESL volunteers in Mount Kisco and Ossining this Volunteer Appreciation Month! Our wonderful volunteers come in weekly to work in small conversation groups with our English language learners. This program is a great way to apply and practice vocabulary as well as exercise conversation skills. Thank you to our adult ESL volunteers who make learning English fun!

¡Estamos celebrando a todos nuestros voluntarios adultos de ESL en Mount Kisco y Ossining en este Mes de Agradecimiento a los Voluntarios! Nuestros maravillosos voluntarios vienen semanalmente para trabajar en pequeños grupos de conversación con nuestros estudiantes de inglés. Este programa es una excelente manera de aplicar y practicar vocabulario, así como de ejercitar las habilidades de conversación. ¡Gracias a nuestros voluntarios adultos de ESL que hacen que aprender inglés sea divertido!

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we wanted to highlight the work of our amazing Family Night volunteers! Every other Friday evening, our amazing Family Night volunteers come in, share a meal with our clients, and prepare activities for our client children to enjoy while their parents are at an educational workshop. And a huge thank you to the community partners who have had groups of volunteers: the Friends of Neighbors Link, the Bedford Katonah Moms, Bedford Community Church, Bedford Presbyterian Church, the Boys Team Club, the National Charity League, Dominican University, Pleasantville Wellness, Trinity Presbyterian Church and all the volunteers who have participated! ¡Abril es el Mes de Agradecimiento a los Voluntarios y queríamos resaltar el trabajo de nuestros increíbles voluntarios de la Noche Familiar! Cada dos viernes por la noche, nuestros increíbles voluntarios de la Noche Familiar vienen, comparten una comida con nuestros clientes y preparan actividades para que los niños de nuestros clientes disfruten mientras sus padres están en un taller educativo. April is Volunteer Appreciation Month and we wanted to highlight the work of our wonderful Adelante Juntos volunteers! Each week, our Adelante Juntos volunteers come in ready to help pre-school aged children prepare for school, while their parents are at educational workshops. In our children's room, volunteers help students practice colors, letters, numbers, shapes, holding a pencil, and getting comfortable following instructions in a classroom setting. Our volunteers work with patience and joy alongside our staff and families to ensure we are building up lifelong learners. Thank you, Adelante Juntos volunteers!

¡Abril es el Mes de Agradecimiento a los Voluntarios y queríamos resaltar el trabajo de nuestros maravillosos voluntarios de Adelante Juntos! Cada semana, nuestros voluntarios de Adelante Juntos vienen listos para ayudar a los niños en edad preescolar a prepararse para la escuela, mientras sus padres asisten a talleres educativos. En nuestra sala de niños, los voluntarios ayudan a los estudiantes a practicar colores, letras, números, formas, sostener un lápiz y sentirse cómodos siguiendo instrucciones en un salón de clases.
