Adult ESL Education

Neighbors Link offers a wide variety of English as a Second Language (ESL) programs, from classes run in partnership with Westchester Community College to computer-based learning to conversation groups with local volunteers. Information below!

ESL with Westchester Community College

Through our partnership with Westchester Community College (WCC), learners attend professionally-led classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), at Neighbors Link. Class is offered for beginners to advanced learners. Registration is required.

Saturdays: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm (Please call if you have questions: 914-666-3410)

English Conversation and Tutoring

Participants learn English through group conversation and one-on-one tutoring. No registration required.
Tuesday: 10 am - 1 pm and 7 - 8:30 pm
Thursday: 10 am - 1 pm and 7 - 8:30 pm


English in the Morning

For beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. No registration required.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9 am - 12 pm


Learn English using a Computer Program

Participants learn and practice English using the Rosetta Stone and Duo English language computer program. No registration required.
During office hours, ask our staff for a computer!


Adult Education

Eco-Cleaning

The Eco-Cleaning Training Program at Neighbors Link has now trained and certified over 200 women to clean homes and businesses using organic cleaning products that are not harmful or toxic to themselves or the environments in which they work. Eco-Cleaning students also learn effective work habits, customer service and business management skills. Graduates of this vital economic program are starting their own businesses and successfully finding work through our Job Bank. Call Neighbors Link to learn more (914-666-3410).

Home Companion

In this course participants learn the basics of being a Home Companion, including how to assist individuals with activities of daily living, how to communicate effectively, and safe techniques for working with people with physical limitations.
