Worker Center & Café Manager

Job Description
The Worker Center & Café Manager provides a welcoming environment to clients and guests at Neighbors Link. The Manager maintains a clean and orderly facility, and also provides program support as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Worker Center
    • Interface with clients & employers and provide orientation to new members
    • Enforce Worker Center rules and regulations
    • Collect data from employers and clients
    • Coordinate with Job Bank Coordinator to identify and place skilled workers
  • Café & Pool Tables
    • Record sales for café purchases and schedule pool table players
    • Accept deliveries and maintain cafe inventory
    • Deposit cash proceeds after every shift at TD Bank (Mount Kisco branch)
  • Facility Maintenance
    • Ensure facility has a clean, orderly appearance, including outside areas
    • Perform general maintenance work including minor electrical, carpentry and plumbing
  • Program Support
    • Set up and break down furniture for programs & meetings on a timely basis
    • Refer clients in need of support to appropriate staff member

Requirements:

  • Bilingual English-Spanish language ability
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong team player
  • Computer proficiency a plus

Flexible part-time schedule: day, evening & weekend hours available
